The 1 day baking course was a delight.
You get 1 day of un-hurried training for making your own bread.
You get full ingredient list as well as what to do, plus they go through it, so you don't even need to refer to it during the course.
We got shown and we made 3 loaves, 1 white loaf, 1 malted loaf and a soda bread loaf.
We even got shown how to make your own butter, as a bonus.
I was impressed with everything.

All course bookings are subject to our Terms and Conditions, including our cancellation policy. Please ensure that you are able to attend the date you book, as transfers and refunds will not be offered, but you are most welcome to send someone in your place. This policy is to enable us to run our courses viably and therefore maintain our high quality standards – to explain, if a student cancels and transfers to a new date and we can’t resell their cancelled place then it means we lose out on making that place available e.g. that’s one student taking two spaces but only paying for one – it just doesn’t add up!
On the rare occasion that we must cancel / reschedule a course students will be offered an alternative date or a full refund without question.

What our clients say about this course
The setting is charming. The kitchen / baking studio is set in a renovated stable which makes for a wonderfully peaceful experience. Sarah guided us through the steps of baking but she also gave us tips on ingredients, equipment and processes. The class sizes are small and Sarah facilitates the sessions with warmth, kindness and humour. I made friends as well as scones. Thank you Sarah.
Very friendly and informative morning making scones and shortbread in a relaxed way. I would definitely book again!
