Macarons (sometimes referred to in the UK as macaroons) are notorious for being difficult to master and patissiers and pastry chefs the world over take many years to perfect their skills. Our class is designed to help you try all the core techniques so that you have the confidence to recreate our recipes in your own kitchen – with a little practice you will be a pro!

You will make your own batch of macaron paste and Italian meringue, choose a colour and flavour, before combining, piping and preparing them for baking. You will fill your macarons with a selection of fillings prepared and demonstrated for you, such as a chocolate ganache and a soft fluffy buttercream.

Who does this class suit:
Beginners & intermediate home bakers looking to develop their skills. This is a hands-on class which is not suitable for under 16s. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult attending the same course

Length:
Full Day - 10am - 3.30pm approximately, including a break for lunch

What’s Included:
Tuition; all equipment and ingredients; apron to use during the lesson; recipe sheets; lots of helpful hints, tips and baking advice; complimentary refreshments and a chance to taste some freshly baked produce. Students take home everything they have made on the day. Lunch is not included but we can make suggestions for places where students can find a range of food options
