I have visited the Delightful tea bake school on several occasions and have really enjoyed the experience. I have been with my daughter and she has been on her own to a couple of classes. On each occasion we have really enjoyed the classes. The venue is lovely and Sarah is a great teacher. She makes you feel very welcome and runs the classes professionally but makes them fun too. We hope to attend another classes soon
French Bread Making
Looking to recreate classic French recipes at home? Some French breads can take years to master and perfect, but we have developed this session to enable the home baker to produce delicious, consistent results in their own kitchens!
The class includes two kneading and three shaping techniques, working with and using a pre-ferment, and will also help you understand how you can develop better flavour in your breads.
Recipes covered:
Fougasse – a tearable “leaf-shaped” bread
Baguettes – crusty, half-length and perfect for a domestic oven!
Brioche – rich and buttery, can be used for sweet or savoury fillings

Who does this class suit:
Beginners +. This is a hands-on class which less suited to under 12s, however should you wish to bring a younger guest, please contact us to discuss. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult attending the course
Length:
10am - 4.30pm approximately, including a few short breaks. Please note that finish times depend on the speed of the group overall, so occasionally may finish a little earlier or later than advertised

Tuition; all equipment and ingredients; apron to use during the lesson; recipe sheets; lots of helpful hints, tips and baking advice; complimentary refreshments. Students take home everything they have made on the day. Lunch is not included - we highly recommend students bring a packed lunch
