Mince Pie Making (Evening) – Limited Edition Festive Classes

Pastry is sometimes a skill that aspiring bakers struggle with – we will help you master all techniques to ensure yours is delicious every time.

Students will prepare their own batch of pastry, before filling with our homemade mincemeat and baking.

Students will also make an additional batch of mincemeat each to jar up and take away along with their 12 finished mince pies.

Your tutor will demonstrate how to make custard from scratch – the perfect accompaniment to these freshly baked festive treats!

What's Covered:
All butter shortcrust pastry / homemade mincemeat / custard recipe demonstration

Price:
£60 person. Pay in full now or contact enquiries@delightfultea.co.uk to pay £30 now and the balance 14 days prior to the event

Who does this class suit:
Beginners +. This is a hands-on class which is not suitable for under 10s. Under 16s must be accompanied by an 18+ adult attending the same course

Length:
6.30pm - 9.30pm approximately. There is no break during this class. Please note that finish times depend on the size and speed of the group overall, so occasionally may finish a little earlier or later than advertised

What’s Included:
Students take home all they’ve made on the day and all packaging is supplied; students may wish to bring along a cool bag if desired. Fees also include an apron to use during the lesson; recipe sheets; complimentary refreshments and a chance to taste some freshly baked produce
